The Problem

Booking a sports court in Vancouver means phone calls, walk-ins, or navigating outdated websites. Finding people to play with means WhatsApp groups and hoping enough people show up. Every sport has its own fragmented system, and none of them talk to each other.

We're Vancouver players. We knew the friction first-hand — calling a community centre at 9am to book a court at 7pm, asking a WhatsApp group if anyone's free, refreshing a city booking page hoping a slot opened. TapNGame is the thing we wanted to exist.

What We Built

TapNGame is a mobile-first marketplace: players book courts and join pickup games on the app, venues run their schedule and get paid via Stripe on the dashboard. One backend, one mission — make finding a court and a game effortless.

Vancouver First

We chose Vancouver because it's one of the most active sports cities in Canada. Richmond supports multi-court badminton complexes. Pickleball is growing faster here than almost anywhere else in BC. Pickup runs at Trout Lake, Hillcrest, and Kits Beach already pull crowds every week — Vancouver has the demand; what it needs is one place to find it.

We are building the model right here before expanding to other Canadian cities. Every feature, every venue partnership, every community interaction is shaped by what Vancouver players and venue owners tell us they need.

Who We Are

We built this for the version of ourselves who moved to a new city and wanted to play tennis on a Thursday without joining six Facebook groups.

Our team is based in Vancouver and plays the sports on the platform. We are building TapNGame because we believe recreational sports are one of the best ways to build community, stay healthy, and meet people in a new city — and the infrastructure for it has never matched the demand.

For Venue Owners

Launch partners get guided onboarding, daily Stripe payouts, and free use of the dashboard during the launch period. After that, you choose between a flat monthly fee and a per-booking commission.
