Account Deletion
Two ways to permanently delete your TapNGame account.
Delete from inside the app
The fastest way to delete your account:
- Open the TapNGame app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account and all associated data will be deleted within 30 days.
Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email hello@tapngame.com from the address you used to sign up. Include your username if you remember it. We'll confirm and process the deletion within 5 business days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, name, photo, bio, and stats
- Your friends list and community memberships
- Your posts, comments, reactions, and shared photos
- Your direct messages, game chats, and community chats
- Your saved venues and payment methods
- Your booking history and ratings
- Push notification tokens
What we keep
We retain a minimal record of completed bookings (date, venue, amount) for tax and accounting purposes as required by Canadian law. This record does not contain your name, photo, or contact details — only an internal reference. We also keep aggregated, non-identifying analytics that cannot be tied back to you.
Timeline
Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be restored. Cached copies on backups are purged within 90 days.
